The Group

People

The Quantum Optomechanics group at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is forming. We work across cavity optomechanics, superfluid ⁴He, analogue gravity, peripheral superconducting quantum technologies, and precision sensing — bringing together experimentalists, theorists, and engineers.

A young lab, building from millikelvin upward

The group brings expertise in low-temperature physics, microwave measurement, nanofabrication, and superfluid helium — and is recruiting motivated PhD and Master's students, as well as postdoctoral researchers, with backgrounds in physics, electrical engineering, or applied physics.

We collaborate closely with international partners at Royal Holloway, Institut Néel (CNRS), and the gravitational wave detection community, and maintain ties to industry through our spin-out enthrophy.com.
